well, if you think he likes you, just go along with it a bit more like, maybe get more flirty to see if he will flirt back. friendship is important too. if you are really good friends and its not worth the risk of losing that, and if you think that if you tell him he might not want to be friends afterwards, then there is nothing wrong with staying friends :) <3
